Mission Statement
The Boxing Autism Community Club was founded in May of 2008. The club has grown to have over 50 official members and our membership is actively involved in educating parents, educators, and community leaders about Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome and PDD-NOS. Three of our members hold official positions, but there are many more opportunities for you. This is a club with the intent to use the resources of one another in order to educate and support our children with autism and provide creative opportunities for parents to take ownership of leadership roles that increase awareness in our community. Insurance does not cover many of the services that we need as parents with an autistic child and together we can make a difference for our children by teaching one another what we have learned and passing it on. This club will hold monthly support groups and free presentations for parents of children affected by autism. There is no fee to join, but you have to be willing to learn with us and we will help you and your child with autism achieve great success.
Welcome!
Vision without action is mearly a dream.
Action without vision just passes time.
Vision with action can change the world.
